About Us

Music Share for Seniors is a charitable organization dedicated to reducing senior social isolation through music-based programming and meaningful social interaction.

Our Mission

Music Share for Seniors mission is to deliver our unique programming to as many isolated seniors as possible. We work hand in hand with the health care facilities we serve in order to reduce the amount of time older adults spend isolated from their community. Currently, our programming is provided to seniors at 14 facilities across the GTA operated by organizations including: Sienna Senior Living, AgeCare, Chartwell, Aspira, Extendicare, and The Baycrest Centre.

Placement Opportunities

Music Share for Seniors is partnered with Toronto Metropolitan University, York University, Seneca College, Sheridan College, George Brown College, and Durham College in order to provide one of a kind placement opportunities that educate students on the needs of seniors living in healthcare facilities.

Music Share for Seniors is proud to be incubated at the Social Venture Zone at TMU and is grateful to all of the hard working volunteers, partners, donors, and staff who make this organization what it is today! We are excited for what the future holds, and look forward to providing our programming to as many seniors living in health care facilities as possible!
